From MCU fandom, Spider-Man 3: No Way Home is a 2021 superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. The film is a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Spider-Man 3: No Way Home Recap

A sequel from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio discloses Spiderman’s true identity all over the media – that he is Peter Parker. The evil man behind the destruction that had happened in London using an army of weaponized drones, Stark technology.

Just right after his fight with Mysterio, Peter tries to get to MJ from people flooding at her being Spider-Man’s boyfriend and goes home to May (and Happy who happen to be at Peter’s place negotiating their breakup). The Federal knocks on their door and asks for Peter who is under warrant of arrest. Fortunately, Peter’s lawyer is able to get him out of the case but warns Happy as further investigation of Stark technology being caught in the controversy.

May and Peter moves into Happy’s condominium for better security as they have been constantly harassed by Mysterio’s supporters at their place. After a long day, MJ and Peter talks about their college plans of getting into MIT together and hope for the best.

In just a couple of days/weeks, the results of the two backup colleges were all rejects and as for the MIT result, Peter rushes at MJ’s workplace with Ned already waiting for him. Together, they opened their own college MIT results but was disappointed as it reads “in the light of recent controversy, we are unable to consider your application at this time.”

Peter, feeling that his friends were treated unfairly as they did nothing bad during his controversy, thinks of Doctor Strange and goes out to meet him at his Santcum Santorium. He asks for Strange’s help to make people forget that he is Spider-Man, except for MJ, Ned, May and Happy. Doctor Strange, who was in the middle of creating the magic casting, changes his spell as Peter mentions each and every name, eventually got annoyed and loses his focus that releases all of the spells at the same time. He is much more disappointed in Peter when he found out that Peter has not even called MIT to reconsider their application before asking him to brainwash the entire world.

Spider-Man 3: No Way Home Villains

Peter rushes to the airport traffic jam right after knowing that MIT mixer was on her way to the airport. While trying to negotiate his friend’s application, Peter senses something that is coming. Several explosions and cars flying directly at him made him gear up to his Spider-Man suit and Doctor Octopus is pleased to see him. They fought in the highway bridge putting MIT mixer’s life in danger when she was trapped in her car and the car fell off the bridge. Just in time, Spider-Man’s suit deactivates as it was compromised by Doctor Octopus and he is surprised to not see a familiar face.

Doctor Strange catches on by capturing Doctor Octopus and putting him in a cell and taking Peter back with him at his mansion. He says that because of what had happened, some people from other multiverse who knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man has entered theirs and it needs to get fixed. The villain Lizard is already at Strange’s cell.

Peter tells Strange about Green Goblin, who appeared at the bridge minutes before Strange came up, and he tells Peter to get him into the cell as well. Peter goes out to capture Electro and Sandman. Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin, visits May at her work after he saw an spiderman’s advertisement at that place and tells them he does not know what to do – his Oscorp does not exist in that multiverse and he could not find his son.

Peter says he will put things back to normal and will send Osborn back to his universe but May stops and encourage him that they are here to help people. So Peter talks with Strange again and tries to convince him to help him out and give these villains a second chance in their universe, instead of letting them die by fate. Strange is not convinced as these villain’s death could be equivalent to more innocent lives getting hurt or dying.

Spider-Man 3: May dies and the famous quote

After getting all the villains together, Peter promises to fix them so they can have a second chance before sending them back to their universe. The villains all agree to work together with Peter and they go to Happy’s place where ay and Peter are currently staying. Peter and Osborn together create a chip that will finally corrects Doctor Octopus’ problem. And it is a success. Unfortunately, Peter senses Goblin and fishes him out to reveal himself. The Goblin successfully encourages the other villains that their power are not curses, but gift. They are no longer pressed on by the world to make decisions, but rather they have that power to take what they want.

Fight between good and evil break out. Electro removes his badge which was to cure him by dissipating all unnecessary electricity in his body and absorbs the much more powerful badge to reinforce his electricity and the rest escapes on their own accord. And the Goblin handles Peter, who is overwhelmed by his strength and almost lost the battle. May tries to save Peter by injecting the serum for Goblin but it did not work. Goblin’s glider as it picks up the Goblin and hits May. And just as Goblin escapes, he throws a bomb. Peter is feeling guilty of his decisions but May assures him that he made the right one. She tells him that “with great power, it must have come with great responsibility.” Severely injured from the glider, May dies in the hands of Peter.

Spider-Man 3: Peter meets the other two Peter Parker

Ned is able to open up portals and is able to get the other two Peters from other universe together. They all go out to meet with Holland’s Peter. MJ and Ned hug Holland’s Peter as soon as they saw him crying by himself over the death of May. Toby’s Peter and Andrew’s Peter come down the tower to meet him and tell him that they exactly understand how it feels like. Holland’s Peter stops and says he does not want any console from them and decides to put things back now that he has Stanges’ cube, but Toby’s Peter and Andrew’s Peter tells him that they don’t want to leave Holland’s Peter in his current state, as the two Peter know how hard it is to be consumed by grief, hatred and anger. Toby’s Peter shares that he lost his Uncle Ben and Andrew’s Peter shares that he lost his MJ. Even after they had revenged their love ones, it did not made things better for them. Holland’s Peter understand what they were saying and the three decide to make antidotes to help get the villains back to their normal body.

Spider-Man 3: Goodbye, Peter Parker

The three Peter fight off the villains together at Statue of Liberty and managed to get each and everyone get their antidote, including the Goblin. Unfortunately, things goes out of hand as Strange’s cube was bombed by the Goblin and it’s seal was compromised. Now all the spells has been released and making all the people from other universe who knows Peter Parker is trying to enter theirs and it is too late to create a seal again.

Peter suggests that everyone in the universe will forget Peter Parker. Reluctantly but knowing it is for the best, Doctor Strange agrees to cast the spell, and Peter says his goodbyes to MJ and Ned. All of the people from other universe disappear from their world.

Keeping his promise, Peter approaches MJ first to tell her about who he is, but after seeing MJ’s band-aid on her face and realizes how much more harm it could have been if his friends would know that he is Spider-Man again – decides against it so they can start a new life in Boston as a college students at MIT. He rents out a midtown apartment and uses his own Spider-Man costume (no longer the Spider-Man suit with Stark technology) and begins a life fighting crimes all by himself.
